Our charity partners
In our line of work, it’s impossible to avoid what’s going on in the world. Every day we work on news footage and documentaries which bring the plight of so many of those suffering in poverty, in war zones, and other disadvantaged circumstances into sharp relief. That’s why each year we choose to partner with a charity, and donate a significant portion of them as well as fundraising throughout the year.
This year we have chosen to partner with Doorstep Library. Here’s a bit more about what they do…
Who are doorstep library?
Doorstep Library is a community-focused literacy charity dedicated to bringing the magic of books and the joy of reading directly into the homes of children across the UK. Their work uses the power of stories to change children’s lives. Reading for enjoyment is one of the single biggest indicators of a child’s future success – yet almost one million children in the UK do not own a single book of their own.
Why do they do it?
Doorstep Library is intent on breaking this link between poverty and low literacy. Every week in term time, their volunteers visit children from underserved communities, in person and online. Choosing books with the child’s unique interests in mind, they deliver weekly reading sessions that fire the children's imagination and develop a love of reading in the home. This improves academic aspirations and overall wellbeing - changing a child’s story for good.
How does our sponsorship help?
Last year, Doorstep Library shared 5,792 books with 634 children from 357 families. The money we donate will be used to train more volunteers, source more books and reach out to more families who could benefit from their invaluable support. We are so proud to be partnering with them to increase their impact and make a long-term investment in the future of children across underserved communities.
How can I find out more?

You can also follow them on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. And if you’d like to help them to increase their impact even further, you can make a donation to them directly.
