Characters per line, reading speed, CPS, closed vs open, HoH (hard of hearing) style… subtitling and captioning are more maths than art. Fortunately we’re familiar with them all.

We can handle SRT, SCC, STL, XML – you name it, we do it. We’re happy to offer advice on format if you need it too.

Need us to burn in your subs to a video file? We can take care of that too.

We can work to any spec — BBC, ITV, Netflix, Sky, Apple+ TV, EBU just to name a few.

Oh, and if the footage isn’t in English and you need it translated first? Yep, you guessed it. We’re on it.

And because it’s easier for us to handle everything, if you bring us your post-production scripts we’ll discount the subtitles even further!
